Kendrick Lamar’s Genius Mind Proven With His Word Play & Calculations On Nosetalgia
Kendrick Lamar’s Insane Word Play & Calculations Proves He’s One Of The Greatest Rappers Living
Kendrick Lamar‘s output can never be over hyped. The Compton native is undoubtedly one of the best rappers to ever grace a mic and his discography says it all.
Lamar is so intelligent that one needs to calmly decipher his lyrics to fully understand it. No wonder he is the first and only rapper to win the Pulitzer prize.
On April 16, 2018, the Pulitzer Prize Board awards the Pulitzer Prize for Music to the Compton native for his 2017 album, DAMN. Making him not only the first rapper to win the award since the Pulitzers expanded to music in 1943, but he is also the first winner who is not a classical or jazz musician.
Again, a fan recently took time to break down Kendrick’s lyrics on ‘Nosetalgia’ and it’s amazing how he could come up with such word play and calculations.
“Kendrick Lamar said: ‘Quantum Physics could not show you the world I was In,’ he wasn’t joking. The line is from Kendrick feature on Pusha T’s nostalgia and he continues by describing his childhood during the crack epidemic.”
“Using mines that feature the numbers 9 and 10. ‘Announcer say I got you 10 and 9 times out of 10 knickers. Don’t pay attention and when there’s tension in the air now it’s come with extensions.’ When you add up these nines and 10s you get 87 Y 87. ‘I was born in 87 my granddaddy….. The hidden sun being his birth year, ties into the versus childhood theme. But why use only nines and tens? 10 + 9 is 19.”

The creator continued, “Completing the birth year in full 1987, but he also specifically used 3 nines and six 10s, why? I’m gonna get you right with 36. Shifts a zip of cocaine is an ounce and 36 ounces is a brick and Speaking of bricks, Kendrick cites one of these and the verses climactic line.”
‘Go figure motherf*cker. Every verse is a brick, your son dope.’ Kendrick calls himself dope equating the value of his verse to a brick of cocaine, but he also says go figure, as in check the figures and he’s serious.
“Nostalgia is divided perfectly in half to the second one half which contains one verse, and Kendrick has the other half which contains one verse. And can you guess how many bars there are in each half of the song 36, just like Kendrick? Every verse is a brick and that’s why.”
