Candace Owens Shares Her Thoughts On Texas School Shooter Salvador Ramos

Many people have been weighing in on the Texas mass shooting. Controversial commentator Candace Owens is the latest to give her thoughts.

As we previously reported, 18-year-old shooter Salvador Ramos stormed into Robb Elementary school on Tuesday and shot and killed 19 students and two teachers.

He also shot his grandmother before carrying out the attack, but her condition is currently unknown. Ramos was later killed following a standoff with police. While more details about the shooter are starting to be shared, social media users are currently reacting to the latest article by the Daily Mail which states Ramos was “bullied because of the clothes he wore…”

Candace Owens appeared to be reacting to those reports and tweeted, “An adult man that wants to dress up like a female is a glaring symbol of mental disease. A society driven by cowardice prevents this topic from being discussed honestly and openly.”

She continued, “ALL of our children are at risk bc we refuse to acknowledge—and instead encourage—mental illness.”

She said in another tweet, “I am a mother. If you think that calling me “transphobic” is going to prevent me from protecting my children from harmful societal lies and the predators that perpetuate them— then you must have no idea what a mother is capable of. Try me.”

In a follow-up post, she added, “What’s drives an 18-year-old to murder innocent children? I don’t know. But judging by the photos of him cross-dressing, we can assume there were plenty of signs that he was mentally disturbed and abused by adults in his life. Societal cowardice ignored those plenty of signs.”
