Chicago UPS Driver Accused Of Stealing $187K Worth Of Louis Vuitton Goods
UPS Driver Allegedly Stole $187K Worth Of Louis Vuitton Goods
A Chicago UPS delivery driver is accused of felony theft after he allegedly stole $187,000 worth of Louis Vuitton packages from the distribution center.
The Chicago Police Department reports Pedro Caudillo,26, stole multiple Louis Vuitton packages within a two-week period in April and took them to his home.
On Wednesday, the CPD’s Organized Retail Crime Task Force began to track Caudillo’s movements, and said surveillance footage showed the UPS worker leaving the distribution center with three packages. He returned to the center so he finish his delivery shift.

According to WGN, the packages were worth $35,000 and officers allegedly witnessed him dropping the items at his home in Back of the Yards. Caudillo was later arrested after completing the delivery route. During a search of his home, officers also found other Louis Vuitton items.
Police charged Caudillo with one felony count of theft over $100,000
Another UPS worker committed a similar crime back in 2019. Emmanuel Lamont Reggin Jr. was a seasonal UPS worker who helped a full-time worker deliver packages in Miami-Dade County, Florida.
Local police said while the other delivery driver was unloading packages, Reggin would grab several packages and hid them near a dumpster. The packages contained two Amazon kindles, an Apple Ipad 7, and a Microsoft Surface Pro.
