Snoop Dogg Says He Fainted When He First Saw Tupac In His Death Bed
Snoop Dogg Speaks On The Time He Saw His Best Friend Tupac Shakur On His Death Bed
The Death Row trio of 2Pac, Snoop Dogg, and Dr. Dre had the rap game in the cobra clutch in the ’90s because of their seamless chemistry. Recounting the last time he spoke to Tupac, Snoop Dogg shared that he fainted when he saw his best friend on his death bed.
“While we drive to Vegas to see Pac, we go to Suge house first, so we haven’t even seen Pac. We just talking to Suge and he got the head wrapped up and he’s telling us what happened and you know pop gonna be alright,” Snoop began in a recent interview.
“‘He gonna pull through you know he got shot 9 times before he gonna be alright he gonna hit me in the head so we feeling like it’s going to be high until we go to the hospital and see. That in AI he got tubes. Any minutes like when I walked in I could just feel like he wasn’t even there and I fainted.”

“Then his mother. You know, got me up and walked me in the bathroom and had a conversation with me about being strong. She was like. My baby ain’t never seen you weak I don’t want I don’t want you to be weak in front of him you go in the bathroom and fix yourself up and you go back in here and you talk to him and you tell him how you feel.”
He continued, “My baby loves you because she knew it was a little tension but she knew how much we loved each other so she gave us a moment for me to say some things to him. As far as how much I love him but I know that. That was gonna be my last time speaking with.”
Snoop and Pac famously collaborated on Shakur’s song “2 of Amerikaz’s Most Wanted” and also his All Eyez on Me deep cut “All About You” featuring Nate Dogg.
Back in 2020, Snoop ruminated on his tight-knit relationship with Shakur and what he valued most from his friendship with the fallen hip-hop icon. “I feel like that was something that was passed on to me, and now I’m showing it through my work ethic as far as different things I do and the way I diversify myself,” continued Snoop.
