Young Thug's Jail Food Menu Consist Of Bologna Sandwiches, Corn Grits & Sloppy Joes

Young Thug’s Jail Food Menu Reportedly Consist Of Bologna Sandwiches, Corn Grits & Sloppy Joes

Young Thug isn’t adjusting well to the food he’s been served behind bars, it’s been reported. The Lifestyle rapper previously complained of living in “dungeon-like” conditions in jail, where he’s been held since his arrest in connection to a heap of RICO charges last week.

Attorney Brian Steel says the YSL honcho is being held in total isolation in a windowless cement compartment with only a bed and a toilet.

He added that the cell has an overhead light that remains on 24 hours a day, preventing Thug from getting any sleep. Further, Steel says Thug has no access to media or opportunity to exercise, shave or have any human contact.

And according to Radar Online, the meals Thug is eating at the Fulton County Jail are far from what he’s probably used to: bologna sandwiches, corn grits, and sloppy joes.

Radar, who obtained a copy of the weekly food schedule further revealed how the 30-year-old was served with four ounces of sloppy joes, ranch pinto beans, carrots, and a baked roll on his first dinner meal incarcerated. For dessert, he was reportedly treated to sweat tea and a fudge brownie.

The following day, he had woken up to just over a cup of corn grits, potatoes, country gravy and juice. Throughout his first week behind bars, records revealed that Thugger had eaten corn grits three times, while his other meals usually consisted of hash browns, brain muffins, and oatmeal.

And while some would argue that the Atlanta native appears to have had quite a variety of options as far as his meals were concerned, it’s also fair to say that what he has been given to eat is far from what usually fills his appetite in the outside world.
