Though the cause of the argument is still unknown, it was reported that a group from another care began to shoot at the other, resulting in the fatal shooting of the teen dancer. Though Hall lost her life, 17-year-old Javonte Wood is still in critical condition.
The dance team’s captain, Dianna Williams, took to Facebook to speak about the incident. “This child had an effect on all of us and left something with us all that we will never forget,” Williams speaks of Dashea.
“These girls are not just our dancers; they are family, they are our kids, they are our students, they are a part of us forever.”
Authorities have stated that there are currently two suspects of interest.
