Chris Brown Says He’s Not Better Than Michael Jackson: “He’s Light Years Ahead”
Chris Brown Addresses Michael Jackson Comparisons
During a recent appearance on Big Boy TV, Chris Brown addressed the conversation about him being better than Michael Jackson and Chris called it cap.
Chris, who is heavily influenced by Michael Jackson, went ton to say that if it wasn’t for Michael, he wouldn’t exist and said that there is no competing with Michael and he has shrines of him.
“Like I kind of back off it like my personal take on it is like I wouldn’t even be breathing or even being able to sing a song if that man didn’t exist, right? So I don’t know if they look at it as the Jordan Kobe thing, but I don’t. I can’t even look at it. He’s light years ahead Like you, you get what I’m saying like there is no competing with him.”

It’s important to note that Chris Brown is one of the most talented artists the industry and yes he would’ve been way past icon status if he didn’t have his past, but this delusion of “Chris surpassing MJ” always bothered.
On a recent episode of his self-titled podcast, The Joe Budden Podcast, Joe Budden spoke about a tweet from NFL player Ryan Clark, who shared his opinion that Chris Brown is way more talented than Michael Jackson which led to Budden agreeing with those sentiments. “I agree,” said Budden.
“Chris Brown is way more talented than Michael Jackson….like not even close. Why would you disagree with that? Because he’s Mike and he’s the best to ever do it? Yeah, but that don’t change that.”
R&B star Tank entered the conversation and agreed with Clark. “I’ve been the only way saying this and felt alone for a long time,” he wrote in the comments. “MJ is the greatest but CB has more gifts is all we’re saying.”
