Netflix Currently Casting For ‘Squid Game’ Reality Show With $4.65 Million Cash Prize

Last year ‘Squid Game’ took over the world. Everyone was obsessed with the show, making it Netflix’s most watched show ever with 1.65 billion views in 28 days.

Now with the announcement of season 2, Netflix is also creating a reality game show based on ‘Squid Game’ with a cash prize of $4.56 million.

They are calling it “the biggest reality competition ever”. ‘Squid Game:The Challenge’ will have 456 players competing in a series of games to win the big jackpot. Netflix says the $4.56 million payout is the biggest in TV history.

“Squid Game took the world by storm with [director Hwang Dong-hyuk’s] captivating story and iconic imagery,” said Brandon Riegg, Netflix vp of unscripted and documentary series.

“We’re grateful for his support as we turn the fictional world into reality in this massive competition and social experiment.

Fans of the drama series are in for a fascinating and unpredictable journey as our 456 real world contestants navigate the biggest competition series ever, full of tension and twists, with the biggest-ever cash prize at the end.”

Now, of course, they won’t be killing people off like on the actual show, but over the course of 10 episodes, only 1 will remain to win the cash prize. If y’all are interested in participating, you can sign up at squidgamecasting.com
