R. Kelly Sentenced To 30 Years In Jail
R. Kelly has just been sentenced to 30 years in federal prison following his conviction for 9 federal charges, including sex crimes and human trafficking.
Federal prosecutors had recommended no less than 25 years in prison.
The trial went on for just about over a month, where Kelly’s legal team called on several of ex-Kelly employees and associates all saying, under oath, they never saw Kelly abuse anyone.

Prosecutors, brought dozens of witnesses to the stand, countering those claims, some said Kelly had managers, bodyguards and assistants who rounded up his potential victims before the singer groomed them for unwanted sex, among other things.
R. Kelly did not take the stand during this trial. He is still facing another federal case out of Illinois, plus a state trial in Minnesota.
A fan of R. Kelly was recently taken into custody in the Chicago area on federal charges claiming he threatened to “storm” the U.S. attorney’s office in New York.
Christopher Gunn, 39, is reportedly a YouTuber who is now charged in a criminal complaint unsealed Monday in U.S. District Court in Brooklyn with making threats about serious bodily injury or death, Chicago Tribune reported.
