While Tom Cruise has a thriving and long-acting career, with many classic hits, the same cannot be said for his family life. Tom who was previously married to actress Katie Holmes, shares a daughter Suri born in 2006 and is currently 16 years old.

Holmes filed for divorce from Cruise back in 2012, and claims she did so to protect their daughter from Tom’s devotion to Scientology, Since the messy divorce he was awarded visitation rights, but he and his daughter have not been together often. Tom previously addressed the separation as something he felt came out of nowhere.

Back in 2016, it came to light that Tom had not seen his daughter for almost three years. Rumors speculate that this was due to Tom living in London, and his ex-wife living with Suri in the United States.

Suri is considerably closed to her mother. “My biggest goal has always been to nurture her into her individuality,” Holmes toldInStylein 2020. “To make sure she is 100 percent herself and strong, confident, and able. And to know it. She came out very strong – she’s always been a strong personality.”

According to Hollywood Life, the last public photos of Suri and Tom are from 2012 when they visited Disneyland. Back in 2019, a source who spoke to the outlay said that despite the strained father-daughter relationship, Tom “still loves” Suri.

“As challenging as things have become for him and his daughter, he still loves her,” the source said. “Tom never intended to be estranged from his daughter when he decided to have a family with Katie, and he looks forward to repairing their relationship one day.”

In addition, Tom has two other children whom he previously adopted with his ex-wife and actress Nicole Kidman. Isabella “Bella” Jane Cruise and Connor Cruise.
