Drake’s Team Debunks Rumors Of His Arrest In Sweden

Drake made controversial headlines earlier with reports that the Hip Hop superstar has been arrested in Sweden for illegal possession of cannabis.

According to Scandinavias biggest hip-hop platforms, Drake and his bodyguard have been arrested in Sweden, Stockholm during a private party at the nightclub Berns.

Just in time, Drake’s team have now denied the rumors swirling around. “FYI: I talked to Swedish police and they told me Drake is currently not in their custody. (That was the only info they would give,” Philip Lewis wrote on Twitter.

“From Drake’s team: Drake is at his hotel and has not been arrested,” he added.

If the reports are accurate, Drake will be the second big name hip hop star arrested in Sweden.

Back in July 2019, A$AP Rocky was arrested in Stockholm after punching and kicking a man in the street. The rapper – who claimed he acted in self defence – spent a month in jail and was later found guilty of assault, receiving a conditional sentence.

President Donald Trump pulled a few strings, and got A$AP released from prison early.
