Rapper JayDaYoungan Gets All His Charges Dismissed
Big win for rapper JayDaYoungan who just got all his charges dismissed.
Last year, he was arrested and charged with multiple crimes – including “child desertion.” The 24 year old was sentenced by United States District Judge Sarah S. Vance to a sentence of time served.
This is after serving approximately seven (7) months’ imprisonment, one (1) year of supervised release, a $5,500.00 fine and a $100.00 mandatory special assessment fee after pleading guilty to a one-count indictment that charged him with possession of a firearm while under indictment or felony.

According to JayDaYoungan’s arrest sheet, he was charged with child desertion, a second violation of child restraint, illegal use of a controlled dangerous substance in presence of persons under 17 years of age, switched license plates, driving without proof of insurance.
Also, possession of a controlled dangerous substance with weapons present, possession of marijuana, possession of a schedule II narcotic, evidence tampering and contempt of court.
He is best known for his singles “23 Island”, “Elimination” and “Opps”, which have received 49, 27 and 26 million respective streams on SoundCloud as of November 2020.
JayDaYoungan had released the mixtapes Forever 23 (2018), Endless Pain (2019), and his debut album Misunderstood (2019), which peaked at number 43 on the Billboard 200. He was first exposed to the mainstream with his mixtapes Ruffwayy and The Real Jumpman 23, which included the tracks “Sliding Freestyle” and “Muddy Situation”.
