Friday Actress Angela Means Tearful Over Her Role As ‘Felicia’
We all remember Angela Means for her iconic role as Felicia from ‘Friday’ but she’s now opening up about the emotional toll the role took on her.
In an interview with Comedy Hype it seems that Means blurred the lines between herself and her role as she shared her thoughts and things that were said to her. She even recalls people saying harsh things and continues to wonder why.
She goes on to question the treatment of her character in the film asking, “Why is it so easy for us to dismiss each other like that? Why would they be so dismissive? Why would no one defend her? And I’ve asked this question for 30 years”.
