DaBaby Cancels New Orleans Arena Concert After Selling Less Than 500 Tickets
it seems like the people in NOLA are not messing with DaBaby. According to Nola News, Dababy’s upcoming concert in New Orleans has been cancelled due to low ticket sales.
The concert was scheduled for Friday, Sept. 2 at the Smoothie King Center.
The arena, which can hold up to 14,000, would’ve been super empty for the concert because less than 500 tickets were sold. The advanced tickets were being sold as low as $35. Due to the low turnout, the promoter decided to ax the concert.

This was the only concert Dababy had scheduled for sometime, with his next American show not being scheduled until November. The concert is still listed on his website, but Ticketmaster has already stopped all sales of tickets.
Is DaBaby really cancelled?
After releasing several mixtapes between 2014 and 2018, DaBaby rose to mainstream prominence in 2019.
DaBaby’s debut studio album Baby on Baby (2019) peaked at number seven on the Billboard 200, while his second studio album, Kirk (2019), debuted at number one. The former album featured the Billboard Hot 100 top-ten single “Suge”, while the latter featured the multi-platinum records “Intro” and “Bop”.
His third studio album, Blame It on Baby (2020), became his second consecutive number-one album in the US. The album included his highest-charting song, “Rockstar” (featuring Roddy Ricch), which spent seven non-consecutive weeks at number one on the Billboard Hot 100.
