Deshaun Watson Suspended 11 Games & Fined $5M
Cleveland Brown’s quarterback Deshaun Watson will be suspended from 11 games and made to pay a $5 million following a settlement by NFL and the NFL Players Association.
Watson must also undergo mandatory evaluation by behavioral experts and follow their suggested treatment program.
25 women accused the player of sexual misconduct. Luring them with innocent massage appointments and allegedly forcing them to watch him masturbate.
The NFL had an opportunity to show it had learned from its ugly history on standing up for Women with this Deshaun Watson case and IT FAILED. 11 games and a 5 million dollar fine doesn’t fit what he was accused of doing and found to have done by Judge Sue L. Robinson. Sickening.

“I’m grateful that the disciplinary process has ended and extremely appreciative of the tremendous support I have received throughout my short time with the Browns organization,” Watson said in a statement after the decision was announced.
“I apologize once again for any pain this situation has caused. I take accountability for the decisions I made. My focus going forward is on working to become the best version of myself on and off the field and supporting my teammates however possible while I’m away from the team.”
“I’m excited about what the future holds for me in Cleveland,” he added.
Despite settling with almost all of the women, Watson says he is innocent.
