Britney Spears’ 15-Year-Old Son Defends His Grandfather’s Conservatorship
Britney Spears’ 15-Year-Old Son Says His Grandfather Made The Best Decision For His Mom
Britney Spears’ 15-year-old son is defending the actions of his grandfather. In a new 60 Minutes Australia interview, Jayden Federline says Jamie Spears did what was best for his Britney despite public opinion.
As y’all know, Britney was recently granted freedom from the 13-year conservatorship that she labeled “abusive and toxic”.
She has been very vocal about how depressed she was during that time, and how it affected her mentally and emotionally. Since then, her family has been on somewhat of a “hate campaign” to defend their actions, and her son, Jayden, has joined in.

During an interview with 60 Minutes Australia, Jayden and his father, Kevin Federline, discussed life with Britney before, during, and after the conservatorship. Jayden said though it seems bad, his grandfather, Jamie Spears, did what he had to do to ensure Britney’s future.
“He was trying to be like any father, like pursue his daughter’s dream of being a superstar, working and doing all these concerts and performing,” Jayden said to 60 Minutes. “But I think some people are just, like, ceasing to realize how much he cares about her.”
Kevin also said in the interview, despite the family drama, he still wants his kids to have a relationship with the Spears family.
“They’re my kids’ immediate family, you know. That’s their grandfather and their grandmother and their uncle,” he told 60 Minutes Australia. “I feel that it’s very important that they have relationships with all of them, regardless of what happens.”
