Ime Udoka Reportedly Became Obsessed With White Side Piece After She Broke It Off

Oh man, this whole Ime Udoka and Nia Long drama is getting worse and worse. Media Take Out has learned that according to a new report, Nia’s husband became “obsessed” with his alleged side piece and that is what led to to his undoing.

And after the side piece – who is a Caucasian married woman – broke things off, Ime was still allegedly trying to pressure her to keep the relationship going.

According to a new report which was published in The Atlantic, and parts confirmed by ESPN, the Celtics discovered that Ime Udoka and a female employee were having an affair. At the time, it didn’t seem to be a big deal because they both said it was a consensual relationship.

Even if they work together, consensual relationships between adults don’t lead to coaches being suspended for a year – and is fairly common in the NBA.

But after the staffer – whom is reportedly a White married woman – broke off the affair, Ime reportedly made “unwanted comments” toward her — leading the team to launch a set of internal interviews.

The articles suggest that Nia’s husband may have become “obsessed” with the alleged side piece.

The Celtics have suspended coach Ime Udoka for the entirety of the 2022-23 season for violations of team policies, the franchise announced Thursday. The team added in a statement that “a decision about his future with the Celtics beyond this season will be made at a later date.”
