Child Star Sophia Grace, Known For Singing ‘Super Bass’ On Ellen, Announces She’s Pregnant

Congratulations are in order for child star Sophia Grace, popularly known for singing ‘Super Bass’ on Ellen DeGeneres show.

Sophia made the announcement with a video revealing that she’s pregnant. “I am here to tell you guys that I am pregnant,” she said.

“So, I am 21 weeks today. The reason why I left it so long is because I always want to make sure everything is completely fine and you know so everything fine. So I decided to wait till this time to tell everyone,” she continued.

Sophia Grace Brownlee was eight-years-old when she was propelled to global superstardom by a homemade video of her rapping along to Nicki Minaj’s Super Bass in 2011.

The clip – which also featured her cousin Rosie McClelland – amassed millions of views, and the girls also became good friends of The Ellen Show. Sophia and her cousin Rosie got called onto Ellen DeGeneres’ show after their video took over the internet? That’s where they got to meet Nicki for real, and ended up having their own segment on the show.

Sophia then launched her own pop career when she was 13 with an EP, Hollywood.

The Essex-born popstar released the seven-track EP on her own label imprint Sophia Grace Entertainment – sounding like a younger Cher Lloyd.
