Tia Mowry & Cory Hardrict Divorce Gets Ugly as Tia Hires Ruthless Divorce Lawyer Laura Wasser

The Tia Mowry and Cory Hardrict divorce is looking like it’s about to heat up. Tia hired one of the most ruthless divorce lawyers in Hollywood, Laura Wasser.

Laura is the type of a very high priced divorce lawyer – and one you hire, when you suspect that the battle could get ugly.

And it doesn’t seem like Tia and Cory are on good terms. Typically, in an amicable divorce, the two lawyers work out a schedule to receive documents and exchange offers. But Tia’s legal team decided to surprise Cory … by showing up at the home where he’s staying and hit him with the paperwork.

Tia hired a process server to serve Cory with the divorce petition. According to Tia’s latest legal filing, the service went down on October 21 at a Studio City home.

According to one long-time divorce lawyer, “Typically you serve a cooperative divorcee through their attorney. This is a sign that either Cory’s not being cooperative, or Tia’s being spiteful.”

Either way, it looks like things may be getting messy going forward.

Days before on October 18, Cory was on Instagram Live chatting with his fans and praising Tia. He said, “I love my beautiful family, I love my kids, love my wife. Love all you guys. It’s all love.”
