21 Savage Calls Takeoff’s Death A Freak Accident & An Eye Opener

21 Savage talked to DJ Akademiks about the savage killing of Migos rapper, Takeoff.

He was affected by the death and said it opened his eyes.

“I feel like it was a freak accident, 1,000% but I also feel like that sh-t was an eye opener for them n-ggas too…They had all the bullsh-t going on…I feel certain sh-t happens for certain reasons,’ said the rapper.

He continued, “I don’t want to say it like he was a sacrifice or some sh-t, so I’m not saying it in that way. But more so like, a lot of people gonna learn from this situation and realize a lot of sh-t don’t be worth it…. A lot of feuds and arguments don’t be worth it in the end.”

Takeoff’s funeral took place yesterday at State Farm Arena.

“Migos literally shaped and changed the sound of hip-hop music,” Lore’l said.

“TakeOff was such an important part of the group. I mean, one part–one-third–of the biggest group that, up to date, we’ve seen in my lifetime,” she struggled to find the words, in her grief. “I just can’t even, I can’t even imagine.”
