Arrest Warrant Issued For Former MTV Star Connor Smith For Allegedly Trying To Meet Underage Girl For S*x

An arrest warrant has been issued for Connor Smith, a former star of the MTV show Are You the One? after he allegedly made arrangements to have sex with a minor.

According to a press release from the Lake County, Illinois Sheriff’s Office, the girl was just 15.

The 32-year-old is accused of communicating with an undercover detective online who was posing as a girl under the age of 15. While texting with the person he thought was a 15 year old girl, he allegedly sent “sexually explicit images and videos of himself” and “made arrangements to meet the ‘girl’ for a sexual encounter.”

When he arrived to meet with the girl, detectives approached him but he drove off in his vehicle.

A warrant for Smith’s arrest was issued for traveling to meet a minor, grooming and disseminating harmful material. All three charges are felonies. Smith has told the cops he will surrender but has not turned himself in yet. A judge set his bond at $1 million after his arrest.

Connor Smith, 32, is facing a nationwide warrant after police showed up to arrest him at his home in Orland Park, Illinois, on Thursday.

In 2021, he was arrested in December 2021 for allegedly sexually assaulting a teenage girl and charged with four felonies, including sexual battery and rape.
