Popular Up And Coming Rapper BTB Savage Shot Dead In Houston

According to reports, rapper BTB Savage has been shot and killed near Houston’s River Oaks section on Thursday night.

The shooting occurred around 6PM and when officers arrived they found BTB Savage deceased at the scene.

Per ABC 13, witnesses say BTB Savage “was driving a white Mercedes, when the suspects drove up in a black Subaru vehicle. Multiple shots were fired, and then two suspects got out of the vehicle and fled [on San Felipe] in an unknown direction.”

Police say based on the number of shell casings that the shooting appears to be targeted.

“They literally got it back in blood,” someone commented. “Houston is just turning into a bad place fr,” another person wrote.

Earlier this month, three alleged gang members were indicted for murder in aid of racketeering in Memphis. The charges arise from a 2015 Hardeman County murder.

“This is another great example of the diligent work of the law enforcement community to rid our communities of the violence that gang members inflict upon our citizens. This indictment should serve as notice that we will use every available resource to bring those who engage in organized crime to justice,” said U.S. Attorney Kevin Ritz.
