50 Cent Sets The Record Straight: “I’ve Been A Billionaire Since 2007”

Even though he’s never topped the Forbes list, 50 Cent says he’s been a billionaire since 2007.

“So when they financially say, ‘Oh you’re a billionaire, this person is a billionaire’, it’s like, ‘I’ve been a billionaire since 2007,” the rapper and business mogul said on The Enthusiast Podcast.

“I’m that far from where I came from that I’ve been a billionaire financially because everybody around me is being paid.”

50 Cent has a record label, clothing, liquor brands, a media company and more. His net worth is reported to be somewhere within the $40 million range.

“Resources that I compensate for people to be there and I really don’t see things that I want that I can’t go get it,” he said.

Earlier this week, 50 Cent revealed he received an Apple Pay request from his son Sire for $10,000. Fif says he hopes it was only a joke and posted a screenshot of the request.

50 Cent was ranked the sixth-best artist of the 2000s and the third-best rapper (behind Eminem and Nelly) by Billboard. Rolling Stone ranked Get Rich or Die Tryin’ and “In da Club” in its lists of the “100 Best Albums of the 2000s” and “100 Best Songs of the 2000s” at numbers 37 and 13, respectively. In 2023, Billboard ranked 50 Cent the 17th best rapper of all time.
