Brian McKnight Disavows His Own Kids, Tells New Biracial Son He’s His Only Heir

Brian McKnight had four children, before welcoming his youngest son Brian into the world earlier this year. But Brian is acting like he now only has one kid now. By the way, Brian Mcknight already has a son named Brian, Jr.

Yesterday Brian wrote a poem to his newborn son. On one hand, the poem was beautiful … but on the other it was pretty disrespectful to his four other kids.

Brian wrote: “I  bestow upon you all of the fruits of my labor as my true heir to take care of you and yours for the generations to come. You are perfection my son! I’m so proud to give you my name and just as excited to watch you live up to it.”

Brian was married in 1990 to singer-songwriter and his college sweetheart, Julie McKnight – a Black woman. They have two children, Brian Jr., and Niko. Brian eventually divorced Julie, and according to sons Brian Jr and Niko, he abandoned them.

Brian also has a daughter named Brianna and another son, Clyde, from previous relationships. Briana – who is now a college student, claim that Brian abandoned her also.

“When it comes to my father. The proof is in the pudding,” Brian McKnight Jr. one wrote, when asked about his father. “If there are still people out there wasting their breath putting us down for speaking our truth, challenge them to question how they think they know our father better than us? Lol you know his body of work; we came from his actual nuts.”

This isn’t the first time McKnight Jr. has attacked his father. In August 2019, the son claimed his dad “abandoned” him and his siblings. This forced the singer to respond to the accusations, calling them “nonsense.”
