Adidas Set To Sell All Leftover Yeezy Products & Donate The Money To Charity

Adidas announced today that they plan to sell the rest of their Yeezy products and give all the profits to charity.

I know y’all remember last year, Kanye was knee-deep in controversy and all of the brand deals and partnerships he originally had dropped him like a bad habit, including his main partnership, Adidas.

The company was reportedly working tirelessly to figure out a way to get rid of the $1.2 billion worth of merchandise they had under the Yeezy brand without giving Ye a penny of the profit.

Well, today CEO Bjørn Gulden announced their plan to get rid of the items— sell them and give all profits to a charity.

“Burning is not the solution,” he said Thursday during the Adidas annual shareholders’ meeting.

“What we are trying to do now over time is to sell parts of this inventory and donate money to the organizations that are helping us and that were also hurt by Kanye’s statements.”

Gulden didn’t specify which charity would get the money, but this line would officially put an end to the company and Ye’s business relationship.
