Honey Boo Boo’s Mom Admits To Blowing More Than $1M On Cocaine During Her Addiction

Honey Boo Boo’s mother, June Shannon, reveals she has blown more than USD $1 million (AUD $1.47m) on cocaine.

During an interview with the Daily Mail to promote her new series, Mama June: Family Crisis, the reality TV star admitted she became addicted to drugs during her relationship with an ex-boyfriend.

Shannon said her crippling addiction led her to spending around USD $3,000 (AUD $4,418) on drugs a day. As a result, it led to the demise of relationships with those close to her, and put emotional and financial strain on the family.

Despite claiming to be sober for three years, the TV personality still suffers from identified health issues, being hospitalized over severe headaches and dizziness in 2022.

Last month, Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson and boyfriend Dralin Carswell attended prom together in Georgia.

The lovebirds posed for plenty of prom photos, with Carswell standing behind Thompson as he loosely held onto her hand in front of him.

They went all out for the big bash with a white horse-drawn carriage pushed by a white horse adorned with pink flowers and a hot pink feather headdress.
