Tory Lanez Sends Warning To Haters On New Song ‘Ginobili’, Promises Revenge
Tory Lanez issued a warning on The Verse’s “Ginobili,” taking aim at all of his haters and doubters. Lanez is currently behind bars awaiting sentencing. The video was shot before his trial.
Lanez’s sentencing in the shooting of Grammy-winning rapper Megan Thee Stallion has been pushed back. His team claims the rapper is innocent and is trying to push for a new trial.
On the hook, Tory raps in front of a mansion: “All of you n-ggas that shitted on me, I promise you’ll reap what you sow.”
It’s unclear when Lanez recorded his feature and shot the video, but the lyrics can be interpreted as a response to all of the detractors that have piled onto him since being locked up and convicted in the Megan Thee Stallion case.
Tory was ultimately found guilty on all counts of shooting Megan in the feet during a drunken dispute in July 2020 following a high-profile two-week trial in Los Angeles in December.
He faces up to 22 years and eight months in prison, as well as subsequent deportation to his native Canada.
The ‘Daystar’ rapper’s sentencing was delayed once again earlier this month as his attorneys plan to file a supplemental response to their motion for a new trial, which they filed last month.
