Gloria Govan Owing Lawyers $200K She Used To Divorce Matt Barnes, Now Facing Jail Time

Gloria Govan could find herself in jail if she doesn’t pay a default judgement owed to her former legal team.

If you can recall, Govan was involved in a very nasty divorce with her ex-husband Matt Barnes.

Although Matt ended up having to pay her back child support in the sum of $137K, Matt ended up winning sole custody of their son’s after Govan blocked him from picking up the twins on his custodial day.

Now that the divorce is finalized and Govan is happily married to Matt’s former teammate, Derek Fisher, Govan’s divorce lawyers say she hasn’t paid her bill owed to them.

According to Radar Online, the firm Brot, Gross & Fishbein, demanded she shows up to court with her bank statements — to help them collect on a $200k default judgment.

Per the report, “If the court sets a hearing and Govan doesn’t show up, she could be subject to arrest.”

They were awarded a default judgement after Govan blew off the case the first time.
