Lil Wayne Says He Doesn’t Have An Amazing Memory To Remember His Songs

Life appears to be getting a little blurry for Lil Wayne. The rapper revealed in a recent interview with Rolling Stone that if you were to ask him a question about some of his past projects he more than likely would not be able to give you an accurate answer.

Wayne, 40, admitted to the fact that, as of right now, he couldn’t tell you what songs are on his best sellers out of Carter I-lll to Carter lV, simply because he says he just does “not know”.

Wayne then went on to explain that his projects don’t hold any significance to them due to this memory loss he is experiencing.

Once given a chance to further explain this gradual loss of memory, Wayne described it as a curse that is a part of the gift. “I work everyday, bro—every single day,” Wayne said.

“I believe that God blessed me with this amazing mind, but would not give me an amazing memory to remember this amazing sh—t.”

According to Wayne, he says he has no plans on slowing down and that the source of his motivation comes from showing the music world and the upcoming generation of music artists why he’s still that dude.

The rapper did not disclose whether the memory loss he touched basis on was a serious medical matter, but has had a history with seizures in his past.
