Roseanne Barr Faces Backlash Over Sick Comment That “Six Million Jews Should Die’

The disgraced 70-year-old actress and comedian was a guest on the This Past Weekend podcast this week, where she made a ‘sarcastic’ remark and sparked outrage.

The podcast’s host Theo Von listened as Roseanne Barr, who is Jewish, used the Holocaust and Jewish people to make a point about political propaganda.

Barr, who is a well-known Trump supporter, used Joe Biden’s electoral victory as an example of a ‘truth’ that someone could get booted off of ‘YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and all the other ones’ for questioning.

“Like for the real truth that, you know, and I’m glad that they did set up all these guidelines so that we only are allowed to speak the truth,” Barr said during the podcast which was released on June 14.

“And the truth is that Biden got 81 million votes by winning 36 counties. And that is just incredible. It really, really is.”

She continued: “And that is the truth. And nobody died in the Holocaust, either. That’s the truth. It should happen. Six million Jews should die right now ’cause they cause all the problems in the world. But it never happened. But it never happened — mandated.”

The clip from the podcast has picked up steam online and people are upset about the comic’s words.

On Tuesday (June 27), Jonathan Greenblatt, the CEO of the Anti-Defamation League, a Jewish organisation which specialises in civil rights law, criticised Barr’s comments.

“Sarcasm or not, Roseanne Barr’s comments about Jews and the Holocaust are reprehensible and irresponsible,” he tweeted.
