Tom Holland Reveals Zendaya Was His Childhood Celebrity Crush

Tom Holland is famously obsessed with his longtime girlfriend, Zendaya, and, according to him, the infatuation began before the two even met.

Not in a Savage Garden “I knew I loved you before I met you” kind of way, but in a childhood fandom kind of way.

In a video interview with BuzzFeed, Holland was tasked with answering 30 questions as quickly as he could. Some questions left the actor struggling for a response, but there was one he needed to time at all to answer.

“Who was your childhood celeb crush?” Without skipping a beat, Holland replied, “Zendaya. Easy.”

Holland would have seen Zendaya on TV when she was a Disney Channel star back in the early 2010s when they were both in their early teens.

The actors met while working on Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2016 and romance rumors quickly followed. However, there wasn’t a direct confirmation of them dating until July 2021, when they were spotted kissing.

At the time, the Cherry star and the Disney Channel alum were seen packing on the PDA in Holland’s car, in photographs obtained by Page Six. The two shared a smooch and made funny faces at each other in an Audi sports car in Los Angeles.
