Zion Williamson Donates $250K To Help Children In Louisiana With Their Uniforms For School

The Zion Williamson Foundation donated $250,000 to students in Jefferson Parish, Louisiana, as part of their Summer Bridge program.

The money will go toward helping students purchase school uniforms needed after consolidations necessitated them changing schools.

The New Orleans Pelicans star has been having an embarrassing week just after he announced that he is going to have a child.

Zion soon found himself in hot water, after adult film star Moriah Mills called him out on Twitter for allegedly seeing her at the same time as the mother of his child.

Zion Lateef Williamson (born July 6, 2000) is an American professional basketball player for the New Orleans Pelicans of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He plays the power forward position.

Following a freshman-year stint with the Duke Blue Devils, Williamson was selected by the Pelicans with the first overall pick in the 2019 NBA draft.

He was named to the NBA All-Rookie First Team in 2020. In 2021, he became the fourth youngest NBA player to be selected to an All-Star game.
