Carlee Russell’s Parents She Was Kidnapped Despite Reports Claiming She Wasn’t Followed

Carlee Russell’s family is speaking out for the first time since their daughter was found safe after she went missing for 3 days.

They claim that Carlee had the fight of her life trying to get to get back home to them after she was allegedly abducted on the side of the highway.

While speaking with TODAY, Talitha and Carlos Russell, the parents of Carlethia “Carlee” Russell, recount how they felt when Carlee finally returned home.

They claim she was very shaken up from her entire experience and she immediately had to get medical attention. They say that despite recently released evidence that claims no one followed Carlee, their daughter was definitely kidnapped and they believe her abductor is still out on the loose.

“There were moments when she physically had to fight for her life, and there were moments when she had to mentally fight for her life,” Carlee Russell’s mother said.

According to her parents, Carlee has been through a lot in the last 3 days and is currently “not in a good state” to talk to the public about her experience.

They assure that when she is ready, she will tell her story, but until then they ask for privacy during this time.
