Da Brat & Her Wife Jessica ‘Judy’ Dupart Welcome Their First Child Together

Congratulations are in order for Da Brat and her wife, Jessica “Judy” Harris-Dupart, who just welcomed a baby boy into their family.

According to People, the rapper gave birth to their son in Atlanta on July 6 at 8:30 p.m. ET. The baby boy weighed 7 pounds and 8 ounces, measuring 20 inches long.

“I can’t BELIEVE he came out of me!” Da Brat tells PEOPLE. “Feels like a dream. He’s PERFECT in every way.” Da Brat says she is “Very appreciative for such a blessing of our bundle of joy. This journey has been more amazing than we could’ve ever imagined.”

Harris-Dupart says, “His name had been True Legend Harris-Dupart but now that we’ve met him we are tempted to name him PERFECT.”

Da Brat made couple headlines over having very little knowledge about what to expect from a pregnancy or childbirth. Back in March, she was caught on video referring to her pregnancy “trimester” as a “semester.”

Judy also once recorded an IG Live where Da Brat seemed confused about whether her body would be able to produce milk for their child. Da Brat asked Judy, “Do I have to drink milk, so that I can produce milk?”

Judy tried her best to educate her wife, telling Da Brat that a woman’s body naturally produces milk – whether she drinks milk or not. But Da Brat seemed confused. She kept asking Judy, “Where does your body get the milk from?”
