NeNe Leakes Speaks On Oldest Son Bryson’s Arrest

NeNe Leakes was recently a guest on Carl King’s podcast where she addressed her son Bryson Bryant’s recent arrest.

“He needs rehabilitation,” she said in the episode which drops today. “He needs a lot of counseling.”

She continued, “Like many families out there, I have family members that are struggling with drugs and certain addictions. He has an addiction. He’s been struggling with it for years. He’s been in rehab for a couple of times and he still has come back out and relapsed.”

Bryson Bryant was booked on multiple charges in Lawrenceville, Georgia, including violating probation, possession of a schedule II controlled substance, loitering/prowling and giving a fake name to a law enforcement officer after he allegedly told police he was his younger brother, Brentt Leakes.

The former Atlanta Housewife added, “There’s not much that I can do,” she says.

“For people who have had children or family members that have been on drugs, they know that they have to be ready.”

NeNe added that she has “spent so much money on trying to get Bryson where he needs to be,” but that he will get there when he is ready to.
