Quavo Still ‘Cries Himself To Sleep’ Over Takeoff Death

Nearly 8 months since Takeoff’s killing and Quavo says he still cries himself to sleep over the death of his close friend and relative.

“I think about him all the time,” he said of TakeOff. “Sometimes I cry myself to sleep, you know, and that’s it. I just know he’s here. I know that if I can’t feel him, I just know he’s around.”

Quavo went on to add that now Takeoff is not around, he’s had to change the way he records.

“Now he’s gone and I don’t have nobody to play the music for,” he said “I just try to connect with the earth and just try to hear them like that.” Quavo doesn’t “really like nobody else’s opinion.”

Last month, Quavo paid a tribute to Takeoff on the late rapper’s birthday. “Happy Birthday @yrntakeoff can’t wait for days like this again!!! BEST believe we goin up all week the Rocket way GEEKD u 29 n***a,” he captioned a clip of the two looking through some clothes.

Patrick Xavier Clark, the man arrested for the murder of Migos rapper Takeoff, has been formally charged with murder by a Texas grand jury in May.

Takeoff was hanging out with Quavo and Jas Prince in November 2022, who was celebrating his birthday, the night of his death. Several videos floated around on the internet as fans tried to solve the case.
