Beyonce’s Mother Tina Knowles Files For Divorce From Richard Lawson

Tina Knowles and Richard Lawson have called it quits. According to TMZ, Tina has filed for divorce.

We previously reported on rumors that Tina and Lawson are no longer together, with multiple evidences. Alas, we’re right.

According to reports from TMZ, “She lists the date of separation as Tuesday, and Tina is rolling with the usual irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split.”

If you can recall, they married in 2015. Tina is asking the court to terminate the court’s ability to award spousal support to her or Richard. She is also asking for her last name “Knowles” to be restored.

Tina and Richard started dating in the summer of 2013. The two had been friends for more than 30 years and they seemed to fall in love almost instantly.

The couple were married in Newport Beach, California on April 12, 2015 – and since then they have been nearly inseparable.

The news of their separation came as a surprise to many people and they’ve since been sharing different takes on it.
