Tory Lanez’s Legal Counsel Claims He’s Doing Bad In Jail

Tory Lanez is having a tough time in jail as he awaits his sentencing! According to one of his legal counsels, Tory is down bad right now!

According to Meghann Cuniff, Tory was attempting to replace one of his lawyers on his legal team. Ronda Renee Dixon wanted to replace Matthew Barhoma as counsel under Tory’s main lawyer, Jose Baez.

The judge ultimately denied the motion for the replacement, but Dixon was still able to go see Tory in jail and she claims he’s not looking good.

“His eyes were black. He was totally despondent. He told me he wanted to go to state prison. I said, ‘You want to go to state prison? Why?’ He said, ‘At least I’ll be able to go out in the yard and talk to people,” Dixon said. “That upset me. I don’t think he’s guilty.”

She also says Tory has reportedly been kept away from other inmates due to his “celebrity status”, something that is driving Tory to edge.

She wrote in her motion, “Merely because he is well known, the Sheriff has decided that Mr. Peterson is of such great threat that he must be confined in the same way as those convicted of serial rape charges and murder.”

His sentencing hearing is scheduled for Aug. 7.
