Miguel Previews New Album With Video Of Him Hanging From Flesh Hooks
R&B singer Miguel has many of his fans worried – that he may be taking a very dangerous turn spiritually. Yesterday the singer released his new music video, and in it, he hung himself by his flesh. Yes, you read that right.
In the video, Miguel kneels down and appears to be in some sort of a trance, as two tattooed men stick large needles into his back. The singer does not appear to be bothered by the pain.
Then, once the large needles are embedded in his flesh, Miguel is hoisted into the air, and performs his new song as he’s dangled over a live audience. Here’s video of Miguel having needles stuck into his skin, as he’s hoisted in the hair by only his flesh.

After signing to Jive Records in 2007, Miguel released his debut studio album, All I Want Is You, in November 2010. Although it was underpromoted upon its release, the album became a sleeper hit and helped Miguel garner commercial standing.
The albums second single, “Sure Thing” experienced moderate success upon release, but became a success in 2023; peaking at number 11 on the Billboard Hot 100 and ultimately becoming his most commercially successful song to date.
After Jive’s dissolution in 2011, he moved to RCA Records and released his second studio album, Kaleidoscope Dream, in 2012 to critical acclaim (including the hit “Adorn”). In June 2015, Miguel released his third album, Wildheart, which also received critical acclaim.
His fourth studio album, War & Leisure, was released in 2017 to further acclaim. Miguel incorporates R&B, funk, hip hop, pop, rock and electronic styles into his music, and has been compared to vocalists Babyface and Prince.
