Monyetta Shaw Says She Does Not Agree With Ne-Yo Standing Against Children Changing Their Gender Identity

it’s no secret that Ne-Yo faced a lot of backlash after stating that he didn’t agree with allowing children to change genders.

Well, TMZ caught up with his ex, Monyetta Shaw, who confirmed that Ne-Yo’s views do not align with hers.

While Monyetta didn’t bash Ne-Yo for his opinion, she however, is standing with the LGBTQ+ community.

“Those views are HIS, not mine” she explained. She says she and the singer have managed to maintain and healthy co-parenting relationship with their two children.

Ne-Yo stood firm on his comments surrounding children’s gender identity. While he agreed it’s none of his business, he said “It becomes my business when you try to make me play the game.”

Couple months back, we reported that Ne-Yo’s former mistress who he impregnated two times is requesting full custody and child support.

Sade says she is owed temporary and permanent child support, along with reimbursement for medical, educational, and other bills she’s incurred while caring for the children.
