Tory Lanez Is Reportedly Feeling Down Following 10 Years Prison Sentence

Earlier this week news broke that Tory Lanez would be spending the next 10 years behind bars for shooting Megan Thee Stallion.

Well, since his sentencing, Tory Lanez has reportedly been feeling down.

According to TMZ, his attorney, Jose Baez, spoke with the outlet and said Tory ‘is having a hard time processing the sentence,’ but also notes that he vowed to ‘remain strong and deal with his time behind bars as best as he can.’

Tory was apparently hopeful that the judge would show mercy on him after receiving a number of letters from people, including celebs, standing by his side.

“To get a ten-year sentence is extreme and just another example of someone being punished for their celebrity status and someone being utilized to send an example. And he’s not an example, he’s a human being,” Baez told reporters.

Baez added that Lanez is “incredibly sad and down” as any other person would be. His attorney let it be known that an appeal is coming soon.

He previously claimed that he “was completely robbed and deprived of a fair trial” and that he watched prosecutors “unlawfully misuse their authority to hide and suppress any and all exculpatory evidence that exonerates me and furthers my innocence.”
