Britney Spears Reportedly Dating Former Housekeeper Richard Soliz

Just weeks after it was revealed she and her husband Sam Asghari were heading for divorce, news has surfaced that Britney Spears is allegedly dating her former housekeeper Paul Richard Soliz.

It’s very soon after the split but sources close to the star say Paul is bad news.

A source told ET that those close to her think he’s “isn’t good for her” and that’s why “they aren’t supportive of the relationship,” adding that Britney “likes him though” because “he makes her feel like he is acting as her protector and she finds comfort in that, especially as she moves through her split from Sam.”

Her people are also concerned about his past criminal history.

In 2004, Soliz was convicted for possession of methamphetamine with the intent to sell and sentenced to four years in state prison.

Four years ago, he was arrested for “disturbing the peace” via “offensive words” and spent two days in L.A. County Jail, and was given probation and mandatory supervision for 36 months.

This year, he served three months in jail for possession of a firearm by a prohibited person back in December 2020.
