Tory Lanez Denied Bail & Will Remain In Prison
A judge has denied Tory Lanez’s request for bail and the rapper will have to remain in prison while filing his appeal.
“Tory Lanez is officially headed to prison,” journalist Meghann Cuniff wrote on X (formerly Twitter). “‘The motion will be denied and proceedings concluded. Thank you,’ Judge Herriford said.”
“Lanez grinned at his supporters, including his father and friends from the Unite the People legal services group, before being led out,” Cuniff added.

Lanez was sentenced to 10 years in prison for the shooting of Megan Thee Stallion.
Last week, it was revealed that Lanez reportedly turned down a 4-year plea deal before heading to try for the shooting of rapper Megan Thee Stallion.
According to VladTV, one of their sources claims that the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office offered Lanez a four-year plea deal earlier in the case but he chose to take it to trial.
Lanez pleaded not guilty to assault with a semiautomatic firearm, carrying a loaded unregistered firearm in a vehicle, and discharge of a firearm with gross negligence.
