Tory Lanez Announces ‘Alone At Prom’ Deluxe, Says He’s In ‘Great Spirits’
After reports surfaced that Tory Lanez is terrified inside the California jail he was moved to… the rapper released audio from a prison phone call to let his fans know he is good.
“Ayo, Umbrellas, man. What’s good? I’m talking to you live from prison, right now. I’m just happy to get out that bullsh-t county jail,” Tory began.
“They was hating on a young, fly n-gga. Had me on 24-hour lockdown, half-size cell by myself. No windows. No mirrors. N-gga ain’t even seen himself in a whole year,” he said, possibly referring to his recent mugshot.

He continued: “With all the disadvantages against me, my head has always been held high. I want y’all to know I’m in great spirits. My drive and my ambition is growing stronger and stronger every day.”
“I’m so proud of how y’all been moving in my support. I know this feels like a scary time but don’t be afraid. This sh-tt don’t spark no fear in my heart at all. In fact, I’m more prepared than ever,” he said, before teasing a deluxe edition of 2021’s Alone at Prom.
The message from Lanez comes days after cops released his mugshot to TMZ, in which the rapper appears disheveled and unkept. It also arrives about a week after an L.A. County denied his request to stay out of prison as he appeals his conviction.
Lanez was sentenced to 10 years in prison for shooting Megan Thee Stallion. His attorney is working on his appeal.
