Woman Who Went Into Labor At Beyonce Concert Shares Her Story After Giving Birth To A Baby Girl

A video of a woman capturing the moment she went into Labor while at Beyoncé’s Renaissance concert in LA went viral on social media. The video starts off with the woman and her husband, Marcel Spears, enjoying the concert, then suddenly it flips to her at the hospital giving birth to her baby girl.

Well, according to news source KTLA, Sarah Jones and her daughter are doing just fine! Jones says she initially went into Labor when Bey first hit the stage but didn’t start feeling contractions until after the mute challenge.

“I think it was right after the mute challenge,” Jones said. “Everybody went mute. L.A. did very well … and then I started having contractions.” Jones added she believed she was experiencing Braxton Hicks aka false contraction pains and her daughter wasn’t due for a few more days.

“I said ‘Something’s happening, usually I like to dance at the concert and I was like ‘OK, I need to sit down for a second,” she explained. “I said ‘No, no no, it’s early it’ll pass, we’re okay.” Marcel added.

Jones says she then started timing her 20-30 minute contractions and the couple decided to head to their car near the end of the concert—Jones revealed her pains became full on intense at that point. “The biggest contractions happened during ‘Virgo’s Groove,’” Marcel shared.

“If we didn’t record it, I don’t think anybody would believe it,” Spears said. “It’s just one of those things that it’s so convenient you’re like ‘Nah that’s not happening,’ but the baby definitely pulled through.”

The couple revealed their daughter’s name, Nola Spears, and said they have yet to decide on her middle name but although she was born a few hours after Bey’s birthday they are open to making it ‘Beyoncé-like’. Congrats to Spears and their baby Nola!
