Avril Lavigne & Tyga Break Up, She Dumped Him Over Chemistry Issues

2000s pop star Avril Lavigne and Tyga have ended their whirlwind romance. And according to a source close to the couple, the two ended things because of “chemistry” issues between them.

Multiple news outlets began reporting that the two were dating on and off since February, when the “Complicated” singer and the “Rack City” rapper were spotted out over and over again on romantic dates.

But People magazine is reporting that their brief fling is now officially over. The pair was last publicly seen attending a Fourth of July party at Nobu restaurant in Malibu, California.

Lavigne and Tyga then set off for Paris together, where they were spotted on multiple outings during Paris Fashion Week. The pair stopped by Leonardo DiCaprio’s party at Kùkù restaurant, and were photographed kissing outside the Mugler X Hunter Schafer party on March 6.

The two were also spotted, in Las Vegas the previous weekend, as photos surfaced of the pair chatting in what appeared to be the VIP section of Encore Beach Club, where they both performed.

Both stars have kept busy as of late. Earlier this month, Tyga hosted a screening of The Exorcist: Believer for influencers in Los Angeles and attended Selena Gomez’s inaugural Rare Impact Fund Benefit.

Meanwhile, Lavigne attended several shows by designers including Christian Siriano and Dion Lee during New York Fashion Week last month.
