Keefe D Reportedly Can’t Afford A Lawyer, Will Use A Public Defender In Tupac’s Murder Case

It’s no secret Duane “Keefe D” Davis is currently sitting behind bars after he was arrested back in September for the 1996 murder of Tupac Shakur.

Well, it appears Keefe wasn’t saving his coins up because he apparently doesn’t have enough for a lawyer.

According to Vlad Tv, Keefe asked a judge back on October 4th for a continuance after revealing that the lawyer he had on deck was no longer in play for him. Well, weeks have passed and still no lawyer ‘listed in the court docket.’

Last week, rumors circulated online that Keefe D was beaten up in jail but the rumors are reportedly not true. “There’s a rumor going around that Keefe D got beat up and stabbed in jail. I looked into it, and it doesn’t appear to be true,” DJ Vlad confirmed on X.

Duane “Keefe D” Davis is being held without bail in Las Vegas, NV after finally being arrested in connection with the killing of rapper Tupac Shaker.

Davis has been charged with the Category A felony of “murder with the use of a deadly weapon with the intent to promote, further or assist a criminal gang.”

During the grand jury return hearing, Chief Deputy District Attorney Marc DiGiacomo said Davis’ public statements implicated him. They are claiming he ordered the shooting of the late rapper.
