NBA G League Player Chance Comanche Arrested & Charged With Kidnapping Following The Disappearance Of A 23-Year-Old Woman

On Friday, FBI agents arrested an NBA G League player in connection to the disappearance of a 23-year-old woman in Las Vegas.

According to Fox News, Chance Comanche, 27, was arrested and booked on charges of first -degree kidnapping. Chance was with the Stockton Kings, the NBA’s Sacramento Kings affiliate in the G League. He was released from shortly after news broke of his arrest.

The victim, Marayna Rodgers, was a Washington medical assistant, who disappeared back on Dec. 6 while on a trip to Las Vegas to visit friends.

According to reports, she got into a car with 19-year-old Sakari Harnden.

She’s is also facing a first-degree kidnapping charge. Her bail at is set at $500,000.

Chance had played a G League game against the developmental team, the G League Ignite, in Henderson, Nevada on Dec. 5 – the night before Marayna went missing.

Henderson is 15 miles from Las Vegas, and it’s not known how long Chance stayed down in Vegas. He was present for their game on the 7th in Portland, Oregon.

A criminal complaint stated that Chance held or detained Marayna against her will and without her consent for the purpose of killing her and/or inflicting bodily harm.

What was interesting about this is that Las Vegas Justice Court Judge Diana Sullivan, who set Chance’s bail, requested the state “notify the Court immediately if the alleged victim is located alive.”
