DDG Explains Why He & Halle Bailey Kept Her Pregnancy Secret

DDG and his baby mama Halle Bailey are getting slammed by fans calling them out for hiding her pregnancy.

The couple recently shared they have welcomed a newborn son, and DDG responded to fans, explaining why they kept the pregnancy under wraps.

“It wasn’t that hard. It was harder for me than it was for her for sure because she don’t really be on social media like I do. Social media is what I do. It’s why I’m here today,” he said.

“This is one of my biggest accomplishments and I wasn’t able to show it for real for real but it was for a better cause ’cause people weird,” he added.

“People are way too much in my business, our business, at this point in time. So, definitely for the better and it made it a lot easier, bringing him into the world without a bunch of opinions.”

The couple revealed some of the highlights of the pregnancy to their fans, but say it’s too late…they aren’t interested anymore.

Bailey and boyfriend DDG have been dating for more than a year. The pair went Instagram official in March 2022 when the Zooted Music record label founder posted on the R&B singer’s birthday.

The actress is notoriously private about her personal life, having never confirmed she was expecting a baby throughout her pregnancy.
