Lil Wayne Says People Hate Drake Because He’s Light-Skinned

While being a guest on ‘The Richard Sherman Podcast’, Lil Wayne discussed how people hate on Drake simply because he’s Lightskin!

During the episode, Richard Sherman complimented Wayne on his talent-scouting abilities due to him bringing us the greats like Nicki Minaj and Drake. Then, Richard asked Wayne why people hate on Drake, and Wayne basically said people just can’t take the lightskin Champagne Papi!

“He red, he light-skinned,” he said. “That’s just American history,” he continued. “How I know is, because I’m not light-skinned. I hated on all light-skinned dudes in school. So yeah, it’s American history, man.”
